It is Conference Tournament season in College Soccer! We've got a handful of players who have been crowned Regular Season Conference champs at Boston U, Denver, Brown, Wisconsin Milwaukee and Loyola Chicago. Meanwhile, dozens of Minnesotans can still believe in their chances of making the NCAA Tournament. For this edition of Minnesotans Playing D1, I'll highlight every College team with a Minnesotan that is still competing for their Conference Tournament, as well as the overall recap of the stats for our 150 player database. Once we've settled all of the Post Season play later this month, we'll focus on highlighting the Minnesotans who are making All Conference teams (Summit League announced theirs this week) and look back at statistical leaders across the season.

I did my best to highlight the many streamable games this week/weekend! If you have ESPN+ you could watch 10+ games with Minnesotans in their Conference Tournament over the next few days. For the Summit League, which features more Minnesotans than anywhere else, you can stream games from their team's websites for free.

Conference Tournament Roundup

By virtue of winning the Summit League Regular Season crown, Denver will be playing as the top seed at home for this weekend's Conference tournament. The Pioneers feature 3 Minnesotans, Shweta Raje, Megan Prazich and Sam Dietrick, who will take on South Dakota at 2pm this Thursday, November 4. South Dakota has a pair of Minnesotans in Liv Muehlberg and Izzy Quintavalle. You can easily watch these Summit League games from the Denver Pioneer or South Dakota Women's Soccer website. They face the winner of South Dakota State and Omaha on Saturday at 3pm for the Summit League Title.

Meredith Haakenson and the Michigan Wolverines are into the Big Ten Tournament Semi Finals with a 3-1 Quarterfinal win over Penn State at home on Sunday. Michigan has been consistently near the top of the Conference standings all year, finishing at 13-3-3 and 3rd in the Big Ten. The lone Minnesotan on the Michigan squad, Haakenson has been a consistent presence in the center of midfield for the Wolverines. You can watch her take on Purdue on Thursday, November 4, at 4pm on Big Ten Network.

South Dakota State comes into the Summit League Tournament as the 2 seed and will need to upset Denver at home to reach the NCAA Tournament. First though, they have to go through Omaha (who features Minnesotan Hannah Heinemann) on Thursday, November 4, at 5pm. Stream the game on the GoJacks.com website. SDSU features a full slate of Minnesotans, including Summit League Keeper of the Year, Jocelyn Tanner. See their full roster of Minnesotans below.

Drake went into their last game of the Missouri Valley Conference slate at 1-3-3, but they have since beaten Northern Iowa twice in a row to secure a spot in the Missouri Valley Semi Final against top dogs (Ramblers*) Loyola Chicago. Junior Rachel Panther scored a Golden Goal in the 100th minute to send the Bulldogs through. Drake is a hotspot for Minnesotans, with Brooke Davies, Erika Townley, Rebecka Musungu, Meghan Brown, Olivia Bruce and Delaney Goertzen all playing a role for the Bulldogs.

Amanda Cassidy and the Ramblers of Loyola Chicago hope to end the underdog run of Drake this Friday. They have plenty of reason for confidence, as they have yet to be beaten by a Missouri Valley team this year, AND they are now fresh off their 4th Regular Season Conference Title in a row. Their only losses this year have come from Nebraska and Xavier, formittable foes, way back in September. In their last 7 games, they have outscored opposition 22-2, earning themselves a bye in the Conference Tournament. Their Semi Final vs. Drake is on ESPN+ on Friday, November 5th at 6pm.

Wisconsin Milwaukee is still one of the hottest teams in the country and they come into the Horizon League Conference Tournament at 16-1 (and undefeated in the Conference). 3 Minnesotans play big roles for the Panthers, Raffert Kugler, Clara Broecker and Hannah Steel. They take on Green Bay on Thursday, November 4 at 1pm on ESPN+. The Final will be on Saturday at 1pm on ESPN+.

Boston University has claimed the Patriot League Regular Season Title, their 4th in their history. That means they will play in the Patriot League Semi Finals vs. Army at home this Thursday for a chance to play for the NCAA Tournament. Boston U features Minneotans Marli Rajacich and Elle Conlin, while Army also has a Minnesotan in Freshman Hannah Pohlidal. You can stream the match on Thursday, Nov. 4. at 7pm on ESPN+.

The other Patriot League Semi Final will pit Navy against Bucknell. They match off at 5pm on ESPN+ this Thursday, November 4. Navy are 11-5-3 on the year and feature one Minnesota, Freshman Emma Frommelt

Brown has clinched at least a share of the Ivy League title, but they can secure the crown this Saturday when they travel to New Haven to take on the Yale Bulldogs. Because the Ivy League doesn't play Conference Tournaments, the Regular Season champ goes to the big dance. Brown features Minnesotans Charlotte Devaughn, Clare Gagne, and KK Haug. The game is at 1pm on ESPN+ for those wanting to watch high tuition soccer!

Florida Atlantic probably had a crazier Monday than you did. They went to Double Overtime against Charotte in the Conference USA Tournament before winning 5-4 on penalties. They survive and advance to a Quarterfinal today against Southern Mississippi in Boca Raton, Florida. FIU has two Minnesotans who play a prominent role, Hailey Landrus and Mia Sennes. Tune into their game via the FAUsports.com website at 7pm tonight, Wednesday, November 3rd.

Kent State is through to the MAC Tournement Semi Final after a Quarterfinal win against Toledo at home on Sunday. Kent State finished 12-4-3 on the year and feature Minnesotan Luca Ralph. They play the Ohio Bobcats (who feature Minnesotan Ana Aguado) on Thursday at 7pm, which you can stream on ESPN+

The Butler Bulldogs take on Georgetown in the Big East Semi Finals on Thursday, November 4. The game is available on the Big East Network. Minnesotan Leah Gohering is a reserve for Butler, who went 15-3-1 overall this year and were 3rd in the Big East.

James Madison takes on Hofstra this Thursday, November 4, at 6:30pm in the Colonial Conference Tournament. James Madison are on a 4 game win streak, went 9-8-1 overall this year and feature Minnesotan Maddie Majewski.

The Lipscomb Bisons have advanced to the Atlantic Sun Title game for the 6th time in 7 years after beating Eastern Kentucky this week in the Tournament Semi Final. Catch Minnesotan Lydia Hindt and Lipscomb on ESPN+ on Saturday, November 6 as they take on Kennesaw State for the ASUN Title and a ticket to the Tourney.

Memphis beat Central Florida on Sunday to advance to the American Athletic Conference Semi Final against Houston. The Tigers are 12-4-1 on the year and feature two Minnesotans, Madalyn Grate and Maddie Stoks. Catch the AAC Semi Final on 3pm this Thursday, November 4 on ESPN+

Northeastern will open the Colonial Athletic Association Conference Tournament against #1 ranked UNC Wilmington this Thursday, November 4 at 3pm. Northeastern features a defender from Minnesota, Amanda Ahles, who you can see on Flo FC this Thursday in the CAA Tourney.

Minnesotan Mary Fetter and the SIU Edwardsville Cougars play in the Ohio Valley Conference Semi Final on Friday, November 5th, at 7pm. You can watch the game on ESPN+.

The other Ohio Valley Semi Final pits Tennessee Martin against Tennessee Tech on Friday November 5th, at 4pm on ESPN+. Each have a Minnesotan in their squad, Tennessee Martin features Hannah Zahn while Tennessee Tech has Taylor Hornback.
