(photo credit: NDSU) Over the past two weeks we've seen Minnesotans play roles in leading the Missouri Valley and the Summit League Conferences, young players finding their first goals and people literally giving 110%. As an update to the highlight we did on Wisconsin-Milwaukee last week, they are currently both the highest scoring team in the nation, while also conceding the fewest goals. I have to imagine it's rare form to hold both of those titles at once. Milwauke has scored 51 goals in 13 games, while giving up only 4 goals. They give up a goal, EVERY 3 GAMES while scoring almost 4 themselves. Read the previous MN in D1 piece to read about the Minnesotans pacing their Horizon League leading squad. This week we added a pair of players from the Wofford Terriers, Abigail McKensie and Lexi Reichenbach. Thank you to everyone who submits new names to us! Feel free to hit us up on social @equaltimesoccer with any additions. This is your recap of 146(!) Minnesotan soccer players playing Division 1 soccer around the country in stadiums big and small. Lets dig in! (Photo credit: Loyola-Chicago) |
